Despite receiving an approach and significant pressure from Crvena Zvezda to return to his homeland as a free agent, Serbian attacking midfielder Mijat Gaćinović, 31, seems inclined to stay with his current club, AEK Athens. At AEK Athens, he is considered a valuable player for their Champions League rotation. Gaćinović joined the Greek club in July 2022 and has 30 caps for Serbia. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.80m.
