Hajduk Split is reportedly showing interest in Mihaly Kata, a Hungarian midfielder currently playing for MTK Budapest. Nonetheless, it appears that no concrete steps have been taken thus far. Additionally, Cercle Brugge is also said to be interested in him, and there was previous interest from clubs in Russia, the Netherlands, Spain, and England. Kata, who is 23 years old, is a versatile midfielder capable of playing both as a number six and eight. Since joining MTK in 2017 from their youth academy, he has made 111 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist. Kata is also serving as the team's captain, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at one million euros. His contract with the Hungarian club is valid until the summer of 2026.
