Mihai Popescu leaving FCSB?

According to Sport.ro, Gigi Becali has announced that Mihai Popescu will no longer play for FCSB, but emphasized that the player will remain at the club until his contract ends next summer. Mihai Stoica confirmed the owner's statements. The official of the championship team says the decision for Mihai Popescu to depart in the summer did not result from his injury. The official also claims that Gigi Becali had made this decision a long time ago. Mihai Stoica says that Popescu was in the same situation as Malcom Edjouma, who is also to leave FCSB once his contract expires in the winter.
