According to Sport.ro, Mihai Popa joined CFR Cluj from Torino for 100,000 euros.

Tuttomercato reports that Mihai Popa will leave Torino and return to Cluj permanently. Torino will retain 50% of any potential future resale. Torino announced that they have permanently transferred the sporting rights of Mihai Popa to Fotbal Club CFR 1907 Cluj and wished Popa good luck for the continuation of his career.

According to an announcement by Daniel Pancu, Mihai Popa, who is Torino's goalkeeper, is expected at CFR Cluj on Monday. Mihai Popa did not play in any matches for the Serie A club this season. The 2024/2025 season was spent on loan at CFR Cluj. He played 13 matches for the Romanian club last season and subsequently returned to Italy in the summer.

Mihai Popa is transferred on loan to CFR Cluj until June 30, 2025.
