Sportske Novosti reports that Mihael Žaper has been transferred to Slovensko Radomlje on loan for the rest of the season, a move the club has also confirmed. Žaper did not meet expectations at Hajduk, primarily because of a serious injury from the winter of 2024 which resulted in him being out of action for more than a year.

According to Index.hr, 27-year-old midfielder Mihael Žaper has officially been loaned to Radomlje as a replacement for Ivan Ćalušić, who left for Celje. Žaper had previously spent six months on loan at Lokomotiva and will not return to Split. His contract with Hajduk is valid until summer 2028.

Mihael Žaper, who has a contract with Hajduk Split, will play for Radomlje on loan for the second half of this season. Žaper has already joined his new teammates and traveled with them to preparations in Umag.

Mihael Žaper is moving to Radomlje three days after his loan spell at Lokomotiva ended. During his six months with Lokomotiva, the midfielder played for 47 minutes across four substitute appearances. In Slovenia, Žaper is expected to join Radomlje as a replacement for Ćalušić, with headlines highlighting that a player worth one million euros is arriving.
