Index.hr has reported on the loan transfer of Mihael Žaper from Hajduk to Lokomotiva. Mihael Žaper, a defensive midfielder from Hajduk, will be going on loan to Lokomotiva for one year. The arrangement is expected to be finalized next week, with Hajduk covering most of his contract. Hajduk's intention is to give Žaper playing time to help him regain form after a lengthy injury break. Coach Gonzalo Garcia noted that Žaper has been working well but is still recovering from an injury and is facing competition in the midfield. Žaper, who suffered a severe knee injury during a game against Rudeš, has not played since February 17, 2024. Despite being one of Hajduk's most expensive signings at one million euros, his recovery has been extended due to additional adductor problems. The club hopes this loan will provide him the opportunity to regain his form and return to his previous level.
