Slovakian goalkeeper Michal Kukučka, 23, has joined Koper on a loan deal from German club Nurnberg that is expected to last until the end of the season. Kukučka is a former Slovakia U21 international with two caps for the side. He previously made 81 appearances for his home club, Trenčin, which led to his transfer to Nurnberg. In Germany, he played only one match for the first team and made two appearances for the second team in the Regionalliga Bayern this season, prompting the move to Koper where he will provide competition for the goalkeeping position. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €250k.
