Zetterer had previously expressed his desire to stay at Werder Bremen, citing his achievement of becoming the number one goalkeeper in the Bundesliga. However, the prospect of playing in the Champions League with FC Kopenhagen may influence his decision.

FC Valencia is interested in Michael Zetterer, the goalkeeper of SV Werder Bremen, whose contract is valid until 2027.
