Michael Svoboda has announced he is leaving FC Venezia, according to Krone.at. He wrote on Instagram that he spent six wonderful years at Venezia, and his next club is a matter of speculation.

Michael Svoboda extended his contract last March, yet a departure is not ruled out. He said that the focus is on the World Cup and that he will go back to Venice to start pre-season afterwards. Svoboda added that it is not yet known whether a better opportunity will arise.
