Midfielder Michael Hoyos has joined Newell's Old Boys after playing for Independiente del Valle. The 34-year-old joined as a free agent and has signed a contract until December of this year. Because he holds an Argentine passport in addition to his US and Ecuadorian passports, he will not occupy a foreign player spot in the squad.
