Michael Gregoritsch Transfer from Brøndby to FC Augsburg

Michael Gregoritsch is returning to FC Augsburg after three and a half years. According to 'Sky', the striker is expected for a medical check-up on Monday. The pay-TV broadcaster was unable to find out whether the move is a loan or a purchase. Gregoritsch joined the Danish first division club Bröndby IF in August, where he is under contract until 2028.

According to transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, Michael Gregoritsch is expected to return to the German Bundesliga with his former club, FC Augsburg. The 31-year-old Austrian attacker, who was under contract with Augsburg from 2017 to 2022, has a current deal with Bröndby IF until 2028. He has primarily been a reserve player, with 11 appearances, two goals, and one assist in the Superliga this season. Augsburg is pursuing a loan deal for the striker, and the final details of the agreement are yet to be clarified. The forward has 72 caps and 23 goals for Austria. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.50m, and Bröndby IF paid a reported €1.5 million for his transfer from SC Freiburg in August 2025.
