Mert Kömür has been convinced by FC Augsburg to commit to a long-term collaboration. According to Fabrizio Romano, a new contract has been agreed with the midfield jewel, extending his stay until 2029. Kömür, a German U20 international, was previously contracted until 2027. He played 20 times in the Bundesliga last season and is regarded as one of the top talents of his generation.
