Meinhard Olsen, a 29-year-old midfielder from the Faroe Islands, has been sold by Kolding IF to his childhood club, NSI Runavík. The midfielder joined Kolding in February 2025, has 42 caps and one goal for the Faroe Islands national team, and a current Transfermarkt valuation of €400k. According to Kolding IF's Head of Football Niklas Nürnberg, Meinhard Olsen had a challenging 2026 where he was not available. Nürnberg also stated that the player's wish to return home to his childhood club and be closer to family resulted in a mutual decision to transfer him half a year before his contract was set to expire. Niklas Nürnberg also expressed gratitude for Meinhard Olsen's contributions in 2025 and wished him luck in his home country.
