Maxi Oyedele Transfer from Legia Warszawa to Shakhtar Donetsk
Maxi Oyedele showed no interest in transferring from Legia Warszawa to Shakhtar Donetsk. Journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl reported that the Ukrainian team was ready to activate a release clause in the midfielder's contract, which amounted to six million euros. Nonetheless, Oyedele dismissed the idea of joining the club due to the current situation beyond the eastern border and his wish to continue his regular appearances at the senior level. Legia Warszawa had also agreed to allocate half of the transfer fee to Manchester United. Oyedele's contract with Legia Warszawa is valid until June 30, 2027.
