Maxi Oyedele Transfer from Legia Warszawa to Olympique Lyonnais
Fabrizio Romano reported that Olympique Lyon showed interest in Maxi Oyedele. However, Lyon has recently faced financial difficulties and needs to secure 100 million euros by July 10 to avoid relegation and another 100 million during the season to meet obligations, making it challenging for them to be active in the transfer market.
Olympique Lyon has expressed considerable interest in securing the services of Maxi Oyedele. His contract features a buyout clause set at six million euros, a sum that could be considered steep for certain clubs. Manchester United is set to receive 40% of the transfer fee. Lyon is facing competition from a number of clubs, including Club Brugge, Anderlecht, PSV, Werder Bremen, and several English second division teams. The 20-year-old Polish international, Oyedele, has caught the attention of many after his impressive performances at Legia Warsaw, following his youth career at Manchester United. Despite the high level of interest, the midfielder's final destination remains uncertain. However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has estimated that there is a 95% likelihood of Oyedele departing from his current club.
