Italo-Cuban midfielder Matteo Lontani has completed a permanent transfer from Spezia to rejoin his original club, Cesena. The 19-year-old has signed a contract valid until 2027, with an option for an additional year. Lontani's youth development also included a spell with Juventus. He has been capped three times for Italy's U18 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €25k. During the 2025/2026 season, Lontani played across several youth leagues, making 17 appearances and scoring 3 goals in the Primavera 2 - B, while also featuring in the Campionato Under 17, Campionato Under 18, and Primavera 1.
