Tuttomercato reports that Matteo Cancellieri is among the Lazio players with contracts expiring by 2027, and that it is impossible to plan for the future with these players without a renewal. Without approval from the Commission for contract renewals, Lazio will be required to sell half the squad, as they are unable to offer contracts unless current wages are maintained.

According to Tuttomercato, Fabiani and Sarri have identified a right winger as a priority if Cancellieri leaves.

Lazio is open to listening to offers for Matteo Cancellieri. He has more market demand following a positive loan spell at Parma. Lazio is asking for more than 10 million euros to allow his departure, aiming to make a profit. Cancellieri arrived in the summer of 2022 on a loan with an obligation to buy for 8.5 million euros.

Matteo Cancellieri is more likely to leave, having returned from a loan at Parma and being followed by several Serie A teams. Lazio is asking for around 15 million to secure a significant capital gain.
