Matija Frigan, a 22-year-old Croatian forward, is on the radar of Elche, a club that has recently been promoted to La Liga after a strong season in a lower division. The potential transfer is being discussed at approximately six million euros, although Westerlo, Frigan's current club, is seeking around eight million euros for the deal. In addition to Elche, English clubs Hull City and Sunderland have shown interest, but Hull City is currently under a transfer ban. The Scottish club Rangers has also expressed interest, but Elche's proposal appears to be the most attractive. Frigan's contract with Westerlo is set to expire in June 2028, and Transfermarkt has estimated his market value at €7.5 million. Furthermore, Frigan's former club, Rijeka, stands to gain financially from the transfer, receiving 10% of the profit, which could be approximately 250,000 euros if the transfer fee reaches eight million euros.
