Deportivo Cali has transferred 18-year-old Colombian midfielder Matías Orozco to Brighton in a deal valued at approximately 5 million euros. The English club acquired 85% of the player's rights, while Deportivo Cali holds the remaining 15% and a 15% clause on any future transfer. In the 2025/2026 domestic league season, Orozco made 14 appearances for Deportivo Cali, scored one goal, and has been capped three times for the Colombia U21 national team.
