Saudi clubs Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli are interested in 23-year-old Argentinian winger Matias Soulé. The two clubs are prepared to pay 40 million euros for the player and to offer him a high salary. Soulé, however, is currently not strongly inclined to move to the Middle East, preferring to remain in European football. His current club, Roma, needs to sell players by June 30 to generate capital gains, and Juventus has a 10% sell-on clause. Aston Villa also has a strong interest in Soulé, as do several Bundesliga clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart. In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, Soulé made 33 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists. His contract with Roma is valid until June 2029, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €35.00m. It has been reported that Roma's asking price for the player was in the €35-40 million range in June 2026. It was also reported that Borussia Dortmund was prepared to offer a similar amount.
