Matías Viña Transfer from Flamengo to Spartak Moskva
Spartak made two offers to Flamengo for Matías Viña, one for €3 million and a second for €4 million, both of which were rejected by the Brazilian club. According to RTI Esporte, Flamengo's management anticipates a new offer from the Moscow club this weekend. Flamengo's desired sale price for the player is €6 million, and Viña's side considers the deal promising.
Spartak has initiated negotiations to sign 28-year-old Uruguayan left-back Matías Viña from Flamengo. The Brazilian club's sporting director, José Boto, has presented several demands, including a higher transfer fee with the final payment to be made no later than December 2026. Flamengo also wants to incorporate easily attainable performance bonuses into the agreement and maintain a 20% share of any future resale rights. Furthermore, the club aims to minimize the involvement of agents in the deal to enhance their own profit, as they currently possess 80% of the player's rights. Viña's contract is valid until the end of 2028, and his market value is listed at €4 million by the Transfermarkt portal. The defender joined Flamengo in January 2024 and has 43 caps and one goal for Uruguay.
