FC Twente has rejected an offer from Genoa for 24-year-old midfielder Mathias Kjølø, as the club is unwilling to let the Norwegian leave during the current transfer window. Despite not being a regular starter under coach John van den Brom and having made 8 Eredivisie appearances this season, the technical staff considers Kjølø too important to be sold. The player's contract in Enschede runs until mid-2027. Kjølø joined Twente in July 2022 and has two caps for the Norway U21 team. His current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
