Mateo Pellegrino Transfer from Parma to Roma
According to a report from Tuttosport, several clubs are interested in 23-year-old Argentine forward Mateo Pellegrino, also known as 'El Tanque'. In addition to Roma, where it is reported Gasperini would have liked the player, other Italian clubs have shown interest. From abroad, Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Tottenham, West Ham, and Nottingham Forest are also mentioned as having an eye on him. Parma has already rejected an offer of over €15 million from a foreign club during the summer, believing the forward's value could potentially double. His former club, Velez, also retains a 50% sell-on clause. Parma reportedly intends to keep Pellegrino until the summer 2026 transfer window and has already turned down advances for him in the winter. A major offer would be required to convince the club to sell, and a move before the summer is not expected, making January negotiations with Roma highly improbable. The player's contract with Parma runs until June 2029, and his valuation on Transfermarkt is currently listed as €6 million.
