Mateo Pellegrino Transfer from Parma to Atlético Madrid
According to Tuttosport, major clubs are taking an interest in Mateo Pellegrino. Among the foreign teams monitoring the 23-year-old Argentine striker are Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Tottenham, West Ham, and Nottingham Forest, while Roma is also reportedly an interested party in Italy. Parma has a firm stance on the player, having already rejected advances for him in the winter with the intention of keeping him until the summer of 2026. The club turned down an offer of over €15 million from a club abroad in the summer, as they believe his value could eventually double. Any future transfer is also impacted by a clause entitling his former club, Velez, to 50% of the fee. A substantial offer would be needed to convince Parma, and a move is not expected before the summer. The player is under contract with the Italian club until June 2029 and has a current market value of €6 million, according to Transfermarkt.
