According to reports, Rijeka's sports sector is considering him, but no formal contact has been made by the club yet. Malenšek, a left winger who can play in all three attacking positions, has shown exceptional form in the Slovenian league, topping the scoring charts with five goals in five matches for Radomlja. His performance has also caught the eye of other clubs such as Hajduk and Olimpija Ljubljana, although no transfer has occurred. Despite the interest, Malenšek's agent, Matej Škegro, stated that no formal offers have been received from Rijeka or any other club. However, he expressed optimism that the situation might change by the end of the summer or during the winter transfer window. Malenšek's contract with Radomlja is valid until next summer, which allows him to negotiate his future independently as early as this winter.
