Sheffield Wednesday have identified Luton Town's Marvelous Nakamba as a target, with a potential loan move contingent on the EFL making more loan spots available to the club. Exploratory talks have taken place for the 32-year-old Zimbabwean midfielder, who Wednesday are considering to add experience to their midfield following Barry Bannan's departure. Nakamba has been used infrequently at Luton, having only appeared in the EFL Trophy since October 2025. His contract at Kenilworth Road expires at the end of the season, and the move could offer him a chance to play for a few months before becoming a free agent. Nakamba has been capped 36 times for his country and joined Luton Town in July 2023. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €1.00m.
