Jaden Heskey Transfer from Manchester City U21 to Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday are interested in a loan move for Manchester City young player Jaden Heskey in the current January transfer window. According to The Star, the Owls are seeking terms similar to the agreement reached with Manchester United for Harry Amass last summer. It is believed that the 20-year-old is available as a free loan option, which could mean the agreement is structured similarly to Amass’ arrival at Hillsborough last summer. It is understood that Manchester City are interested in loaning out the midfielder, as they want him to gain some first-team experience. Heskey has been captaining their under-21's in the Premier League 2 competition this season.
The Star reports that Sheffield Wednesday have renewed their interest in 20-year-old Manchester City forward Jaden Heskey and that he is again being considered by the club. Sheffield Wednesday are keen to acquire the attacker, who holds English and Antiguan and Barbudan citizenship, on a loan deal this winter. The club also wanted Jaden Heskey last summer, but a deal did not happen. They hope to add him to their squad before the end of the January transfer window. City has a decision to make regarding him ahead of the deadline. A temporary transfer would allow him to gain regular playing time between now and the end of the season to aid his development. This season for Manchester City U21 in the Premier League 2, Heskey has made 8 appearances and provided 2 assists. Sheffield Wednesday’s ability to acquire Heskey from Manchester City is dependent on the EFL sanctioning the move.
