Martín Satriano Transfer from Lens to Hellas Verona

Hellas Verona has inquired about Martín Satriano, a 24-year-old Uruguayan centre-forward, as part of their effort to avoid relegation. Lyon, where the player is currently on loan from RC Lens, is seriously considering exercising the mandatory €5 million purchase option this winter rather than waiting for the summer. The activation of the option is conditional on Lyon maintaining its professional status. This plan would grant Lyon immediate full ownership, allowing them to arrange a permanent transfer immediately to limit their financial losses, which would in turn mean RC Lens receives the fee earlier than anticipated. Other clubs are also interested in Satriano. In Italy, Torino is reportedly very interested, although a potential deal depends on the departure of Duván Zapata, and Parma is also interested. There is also interest from Spain, where Valencia and Girona are monitoring the situation, along with lower-division sides Oviedo, Elche, and Levante. Genoa and Cagliari, who were previously interested, have reportedly pursued other targets. Satriano, who has one cap for Uruguay, has scored two goals and provided one assist in 11 Ligue 1 appearances this season. He moved to his parent club, RC Lens, from Inter Milan in July 2025 for a fee reported as €5 million, and his current market value is €6.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
