Tuttomercato reports on the transfer situation of Marten de Roon, who has been mentioned in relation to a potential departure from Atalanta. Bologna is cited as a possible destination for de Roon, where he would rejoin Giovanni Sartori in management and Remo Freuler in midfield. The report states that de Roon does not seem to be a central part of Maurizio Sarri's technical project, and that in recent hours, a possible transfer has been discussed.

As part of their ongoing talks concerning Rowe, Atalanta and Bologna are also discussing midfielder Marten de Roon, with a move to the Rossoblù being a possibility. The 35-year-old Netherlands international has 44 caps and one goal for his country and joined Atalanta in August 2017. His contract with the club runs until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.20m.
