Mario Vukčević is a Montenegrin right back who has played for numerous clubs (including Inter from Zaprešić), and arrived in Varaždin in August last year. He has made 33 appearances this season, hasn't scored, but has recorded three assists.

Domagoj Drožđek and Marko Vukčević have not yet signed new contracts, leaving the question of their stay at the club open. Vukčević has also shown solid performances.
