According to Gazzetta dello Sport, 30-year-old Croatian midfielder Marko Rog was initially expected to continue his career at Rijeka; however, it appears that the transfer will not take place. Italian insider Nicolo Schira has indicated that Rog is on the brink of transferring from Cagliari to the Turkish club Karagümrük. It is anticipated that he will sign a two-year contract with the team, which has a squad valued at 13 million euros as per Transfermarkt, while Rog's current market value stands at €750k. This development follows Rog's departure from Dinamo at the end of May and his return to Cagliari, where he was not included in the club's plans. Earlier speculation suggested that he would join Rijeka, but this transfer is now no longer an option.
