Junior Ligue, a 21-year-old left back of Swiss and Ivorian nationality who can also play as a center back, is joining Rijeka on loan from Venezia. The Switzerland U-21 international, who has two caps, previously played for Zürich's youth team before moving to Venezia last winter and then spending half a season on loan at Mantova. The deal includes an option for Rijeka to purchase the player at the end of the season. Rijeka's president, Damir Mišković, expressed hope that the deal would be finalized, while acknowledging that the agreement is not definitive until it has been signed. The player's value is 2.5 million euros. His contract with Venezia runs until June 30, 2028.
