Atalanta midfielder Mario Pašalić is on a Panathinaikos shortlist of alternatives to the club's primary target, Mathias Jensen. The list, which was compiled by Kotsolis, contains five or six names of a similar sporting and financial value to Jensen. The potential acquisition of Pašalić is considered very difficult and cannot progress during the World Cup.
