Marian Huja Transfer from Pogoń Szczecin to Konyaspor
Media recently linked Marian Huja, a 26-year-old Portuguese central defender, with a departure from Pogon Szczecin, with the topic first emerging in early December. The defender was not essential to the coaching staff and was available for a loan or a permanent transfer. Miedź Legnica, Wieczysta Kraków, and Wisła Kraków were subsequently named among the interested clubs. In January, foreign clubs including Antalyaspor, Konyaspor, and Rio Ave were also mentioned. Journalists suggested that the Pogon coach was looking for a defender with a different profile. Although Pogon was prepared to let Huja leave, he may now receive an opportunity at the team's training camp and potentially stay. The club is still searching for a new central defender regardless of Huja's situation. Huja joined Pogon Szczecin in July 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2027. In the current Ekstraklasa season, he has made 15 appearances, scored 2 goals, and provided 1 assist. Transfermarkt lists his market value as €1.50m. In January 2026, reports indicated that Pogoń Szczecin and Wieczysta Kraków had agreed on a transfer fee of €400,000. A month prior, Pogoń's asking price was reported to be €700,000.
