Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are monitoring Bournemouth's English attacking midfielder Marcus Tavernier and could open rival talks for the 26-year-old this summer. Manchester United are also interested. The *Daily Mail* reports that the versatile player is on their summer shortlist for attacking reinforcements. It is suggested a bid of around £40m would be required to sign him. Tavernier, who joined Bournemouth from Middlesbrough in August 2022 for €11.9 million, has been in strong form this season, recording four goals and four assists in five Premier League appearances. The former England U20 international's contract with the club runs until 2029.
