TYC reports that Marcelo Weigandt has agreed to a loan transfer to Ecuadorian football. Weigandt will have a purchase obligation at Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito, with the purchase being possible if he reaches 20 matches during the loan. The amount of the potential deal was not disclosed.

Argentinian right-back Marcelo Weigandt, 26, has been notified by Boca Juniors that he is available for transfer and is training separately from the main group, according to a club statement. Weigandt joined the club on 01/07/2019 and has a contract until 31/12/2027. He has been capped 5 times for Argentina's U20 team. During the 25/26 Torneo Apertura season, he made 10 appearances. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.70m.
