Free agent Marcelo Grohe, a 38-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper who also holds an Italian passport, is on the verge of signing for Al Shabab. The veteran player is familiar with the Saudi league, having played there since 2019 with Al Ittihad and later Al Kholood. His signature with the Riyadh-based club is considered to be just a step away, as Al Shabab are reportedly very active in the transfer market and close to completing other deals.
