Paraguayan forward Marcelo Pérez, 24, is close to joining América de Cali on a loan deal from the Argentinian club Huracán. Pérez is said to have never made a significant impact during his time at Huracán, which he joined in August 2023. His contract there runs until the end of 2027, and his current market value is €400k, according to Transfermarkt. Pérez has also been capped four times by Paraguay's Olympic team.
