Having developed his skills in the Cádiz youth academy, Sánchez has played for various teams, including Sevilla's reserves, Rayo Majadahonda, Unionistas de Salamanca, and Castellón. He made a significant impact in the Primera Federación, with 79 appearances and 19 goals. Following his role in Castellón's promotion to the Segunda División, he transferred to Gornyk Zazsbre in Poland's top division before joining Levante.
