Belgian club Kortrijk are pursuing Crvena zvezda's 22-year-old Gambian defensive midfielder Mahmudu Bajo after failing to sign Alex Opoku Sarfo. Kortrijk has sent the Serbian club a loan offer with a purchase option of €1.5 million. An agreement on personal terms with the player has been reached, and talks are ongoing. Bajo, who joined the Serbian club in August 2025, has 12 caps for The Gambia and a contract that is valid until 2029. His current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
