Legia Warszawa is considering the return of former striker Mahir Emreli, a 28-year-old from Azerbaijan. The player has been with the German second-division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern since June of the previous year and is under contract until June 30, 2027. Emreli, who has 59 caps and 6 goals for Azerbaijan, first joined Legia in the summer of 2021 from Karabach, scoring eleven goals in 33 appearances before being transferred to Dinamo Zagreb several months later. Due to persistent health issues, which have limited him to thirteen appearances and two goals this season, he is not a definite option for the club. His current Transfermarkt market value is €700k.
