Shinnosuke Fukuda is expected to become Legia Warszawa's seventh summer acquisition. The nearly 26-year-old Japanese right-back or wing-back is expected in Poland next week to finalize his transfer from Kyoto Sanga, a newcomer to the J1 League which he joined in February 2023. For the Japanese club, he scored ten goals and registered seven assists over 118 matches. The transfer is expected to be a permanent one, with the player's contract at his current club set to expire at the end of January of the following year. Fukuda's arrival addresses a shortage for the team on the right flank, which was recently impacted by the departure of Petar Stojanović. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €750k.
