Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia is pursuing Malian midfielder Mahamadou Doumbia, 21, with the intention of signing him. Transfer watcher Sacha Tavolieri has indicated that the transfer is nearly complete. Doumbia is set to leave the Mali national team's training camp to undergo medical examinations in Paris. His current club, Antwerp, where he is under contract until 2027, could earn up to 25 million euros from the deal, with an initial payment of 16 million euros and potential bonuses amounting to 9 million euros. Doumbia's market value is estimated at €9 million by Transfermarkt. This transfer to Saudi Arabia comes after interest from several European clubs, including Newcastle United, Juventus, and Sevilla.
