Brøndby is reportedly near an agreement with Preston to sign midfielder Mads Frøkjær. The former OB player joined Preston in the summer of 2023 and has a contract that expires in June 2027. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has scored two goals in 18 Championship appearances and has been capped once for the Denmark U21 team.
