Central defender Luka Ivanov is set to sign with second-division club Marek, according to Tema Sport. Head coach Stanislav Genchev at Lokomotiv Sofia considered Ivanov not to be required. The 22-year-old defender appeared in two league matches for Lokomotiv in the autumn and joins a Marek side aiming to remain in the second tier. Ivanov, a Bulgarian U21 international with Serbian citizenship, has been with Lokomotiv since July 2020 and has a contract until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €200k. He was also recently linked with Belasitsa.
