Atromitos announced the acquisition of Georgian international goalkeeper Luka Gugeshashvili on loan from PAOK until the end of the current season. PAOK also announced the loan of Gugeshashvili to Atromitos, stating the loan is until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Atromitos and PAOK have reached an agreement for the loan of Georgian goalkeeper Luka Gugesashvili until the end of the season. Atromitos acted to secure the 26-year-old after a deal for Gaëtan Coucke with Sampdoria encountered complications when the Italian club changed the terms. Gugesashvili joined PAOK last summer following an impressive season with Panserraikos but has only made one appearance this season. With his contract running until 2028, both clubs decided it was best for him to move to get more playing time. Gugesashvili has two caps for the Georgian national team, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €800k.
