Luciano Transfer from São Paulo to Vasco da Gama
Amid speculation about his future, Vasco da Gama is monitoring São Paulo's 32-year-old Brazilian forward Luciano, whose contract runs until the end of 2026. According to ESPN, São Paulo is in no hurry to negotiate a renewal and does not plan to increase the player's salary. On ESPN's YouTube channel, journalist Bruno Andrade shared information from a source close to the player, who reportedly stated they do not see Luciano remaining at São Paulo, citing the club's financial situation and negotiation difficulties. This same source also expressed doubt that Vasco would have the necessary funds for a transfer. Vasco is currently assessing the situation and has not yet discussed values or conditions for a deal, though Luciano is well-regarded at the club. ESPN also learned that teams from the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabian clubs, are expected to make another attempt to sign the player at the end of the year. The player's market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.00m.
