Santos has signed Lucas Veríssimo on a three-year contract that includes an option for an additional year. The transfer was for a confirmed $4m and involved a contract termination signed by Al Wakrah and Al Duhail. Santos secured the signing ahead of other interested clubs, including Palmeiras, Internacional, Corinthians, and Atletico MG.
