According to a source with knowledge of the matter, CSKA Moskva was keen on acquiring Lucas Stassin, a 20-year-old Belgian forward from Saint-Étienne. The Russian side's interest was reportedly serious, but Saint-Étienne declined to engage in talks about a possible transfer, citing the political situation. The source also noted that a large part of the club's board is composed of British and Canadian citizens. Stassin's current deal is valid until June 30, 2028, and Transfermarkt places his market valuation at €18.00m. Other clubs, such as Rennes and Brentford, have also shown interest in the forward.
