KRC Genk has shown interest in Lucas Ribeiro, a 26-year-old right flank attacker from Mamelodi Sundowns. Ribeiro has requested to leave his current club in the summer. Mamelodi Sundowns is asking for 5 million euros for the Brazilian star. Genk is considering this move especially after the departure of Christopher Bonsu Baah, but they will only proceed if Tolu Arokodare departs. Ribeiro had an impressive season in South Africa with 21 goals and 14 assists in 51 matches.

SK Beveren has also shown interest in Lucas Ribeiro, a 26-year-old attacker from Mamelodi Sundowns. However, Ribeiro is considered financially out of reach for Beveren.
